We offer comprehensive, personalized assessments to address your concerns. Our high-quality psychological, cognitive, academic, and neurodevelopmental testing is designed to meet your specific needs.
In-Person Testing
Our main testing office is conveniently located on the border of Golden and Wheat Ridge, Colorado. We proudly serve clients throughout Colorado, including Denver and the surrounding areas, with easy access from the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We also now see clients at the Yampa Valley Autism Program in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Psychological Assessment
Our psychological testing includes various mental health and personality measures to help determine the presence of mental health-related diagnoses and assist in determining appropriate recommendations.

ADHD Assessment
Are you or your child struggling with sustained attention? Hyperactivity? Impulsivity? ADHD testing can help provide answers.

Academic Assessment
Comprehensive cognitive and academic testing may help to rule out the presence of a specific learning disorder. We can also provide accommodation testing for standardized tests (MCAT, GRE, etc.)

Autism Evaluation
These evaluations test for autism spectrum disorder and include gold standard assessment measures such as the ADOS-2.

Gifted and Talented Placement Testing
This shortened assessment includes an IQ test and short report specifically for those needing a cognitive test for GT placement. This does not include academic testing, adaptive testing, or psychological testing. These can be scheduled quickly with a cognitive report provided within 48 hours of the testing date.

Strengths-Based Career Evaluation
This comprehensive assessment combines an IQ test, a personality measure, and vocational preference tools to help you identify careers that align with your unique abilities, strengths, and interests. Whether you are exploring new career paths or seeking greater fulfillment in your current role, we provide personalized insights and actionable recommendations to guide you toward professional success.

Adaptive Evaluation
This shortened assessment includes a cognitive measure and an adaptive functioning measure, along with a shortened interview and shortened report. These assessments are typically needed to help determine access to state-based services.

This service is designed for individual clinicians, private practices, and businesses seeking expert guidance in psychology. Services may include improving workplace communication, identifying individual strengths, and providing supervision for pre-licensed clinicians. Meet our team

Dana Gau, Psy.D.
Dr. Dana Gau is a Colorado-licensed psychologist with advanced training and extensive experience in psychological, neuropsychological, and neurodevelopmental assessment across the lifespan. She earned her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology in 2017 and went on to complete her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in psychological assessment from the same institution in 2021. Dr. Gau completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Ohio Psychology Internship Consortium, where she received additional comprehensive training in complex diagnostic evaluation and evidence-based assessment practices.
Dr. Gau has years of experience conducting comprehensive diagnostic and differential diagnostic evaluations, helping individuals and families better understand concerns related to neurodevelopmental conditions (such as autism spectrum disorder and ADHD), learning differences, anxiety and mood disorders, trauma-related concerns, personality functioning, and other mental health conditions. She is skilled at disentangling overlapping or complex presentations, ensuring that diagnoses are thoughtful, accurate, and grounded in a deep understanding of each individual’s unique history, strengths, and challenges.
